Job Description

The Environmental Management Program Manager in Bluemix Infrastructure (IBM Cloud unit) will be a self-motivated, creative, experienced manager and leader with a mindset for anticipating and addressing challenges in a large organization. The individual will have a focus on establishing environmental management system and supporting operations structure. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring that there is responsive, effective and productive communication between business executives, various operations teams, IBM environmental affairs group and program management office. Communication skills, teaming, and knowledge of global environmental regulations and trends are imperative. 

Working together with functional leaders within the business, the responsibilities include:

Maintain a high-level understanding of the environmental policies, regulations, and best practices

Display a strong understanding of implications of these policies to Cloud business

Support the strategic and tactical engagements to address environmental gaps

Establish and maintain strong relationships across different operations functions in Bluemix infrastructure and extended IBM.

Lead and contribute to responses, including requests for information on governmental reports.

Provide regular status updates of all environmental projects and ongoing activities.

Provide support in creating and delivering presentations on environmental compliance
